Persepolis is a complex of monuments located on a stone ground of the area of 125000 m2 in the foot of the mountain called Rahmat in Marvdasht in Fars province in the North-East of Shiraz, back to 520 B.C. by the order of the Great Dyros in Acaemenian dynasty.
